First of all I called Friday morning to send a friend some flowers for 1st thing Saturday morning, the lady I spoke to said it would be first, I ignored the fact that she was rude because the shop had 4 stars on Google, well That was false, I called the shop around 1:30pm to ask why the flowers haven't been delivered the same rude lady answered and said well we had other orders come in.. so I'm guessing mine was put on the back burner... now when my friend finally got the flowers and she sent me a picture of the flowers and said thanks.. And that's what hurt the most o told the rude lady that took my order I wanted a huge pretty bouquet I spent $120 to ensure it. This looks like a $29 bouquet that you get out of Winn-Dixie...this place will not get my business again
I used Southern Veranda for my wedding four years ago and I could not have dreamed of anything better!!!! Carl listened to everything I had to say and went above and beyond both before my wedding day and the day of my wedding. My husband continues to use Southern Veranda when he sends flowers. I have also used Southern Veranda for several wedding showers and everything has always been gorgeous!
Truly amazing florist! The Phi Mu Alumnae Group of Mobile and Baldwin County has used Southern Veranda for several functions and is always amazed at how beautiful their work is! Not only is the work amazing but Carl and his staff are extremely knowledgeable and so so courteous and kind! We will continue to use Southern Veranda for all our floral needs.
My mom had to run out to the car with the card to see what was going on. I am not sure what is going on there but I gave them a chance to make it right...and they failed big time. I will not be back.
Requested a delivery for a specific time well in advance. Received two calls on delivery date. Second call I received was an hour after the requested delivery time. I usually don't complain about service because you don't always know what's going on behind the scenes. I paid for a service and it was unsatisfactory. I won't say that I won't go to them again but I will try a different service next time.
First my order was for my parents anniversary...it was not delivered until after they were contacted...the next day. The order was placed 5 days earlier? In an effort to make it better they said they would do an upgrade on an already medium sized order...I could have gone to Walmart and got flowers that were equal to what they delivered...with a card thanking them for a golf cart...yep...not Happy Anniversary - but thank you for a golf cart.
