Dr. Harwood repaired a bilateral acute Achilles tendon rupture for me back in June of this year. One does not have to look very far to come to the realization that this is a very rare medical event in and of itself. As a matter of fact it would be safe to say that the average podiatrist would never even see this type of bilateral rupture in the entire duration of ones career. I myself could not have been in better hands even with the rarity of this event and even the lack of protocol to be followed as it being so rare. Dr. Harwood is a wonderful man with the utmost integrity and extreme attention to detail !! I emphasize DETAIL!! you don't get to be on this DR.. team unless you operate with the utmost attention to detail and professional smoothness as seen in all his staff. It makes me feel very lucky to have been able to cross DR. Harwoods path and to have that level of unsurpassed care and attention to my needs as a patient. Dr. Harwood in my opinion is your FIRST and only choice when it comes to your podiatry care !!!
It you have ingrown toenail issues, trust your problem to Dr. Harwood. I have had 3 different podiatrists tell me I just needed to have the sides of the nail removed then I would have to have the awful surgery over and over again every year or two. Dr. Harwood took one look at my problem and he said let's take the nail off. Another local doctor told me the surgery is so painful to have the nail removed and so for years I kept having them just remove the sides of the nail which is not pleasant. Dr. Harwood removed the nail, it was NOT an awful, painful surgery and recovery like I was told by a different local doctor. I would highly recommend Dr. Harwood. Don't suffer with ingrown nails or other issues!
He's the best. Like his staff too. He really cares about his patients. He came to his office after hours to help me with the pain I was having.
The staff are all very nice and helpful. Dr Harwood is very caring and considerate. At first he seemed a bit dry but each time we went back he showed us that he was a very caring and knowledgeable doctor. I'm very Thankful my dad was referred to him. He's taking very good care of him and my dads legs and feet look much better. They are Great!!
