My wife and I bought a house in Fairhope and my daughter also. The process with this agency was nothing out of the ordinary in comparison to other transcations of the 8 homes we bought and sold in our 33 year of marriage. The agent's suggestion of going with Old Republic Home Warantee company is a regretable thing as we should have [and the agent should have] read the reviews of this company which were terrible. Of course we found out how terrible they are after we had a leak in our toilet and they refuesed to approve the repair even after they gave us the parmission to take the flange off the toilet. Real estate agencies like Remax should do their home work before suggesting a Home Warranty company. Also I did not witness good price negotiation skills of the agent on behalf of the buyer.
