Got my toes done and they are all ready starting to chip and it’s only been 3hrs. I don’t think I will be back.
I have been coming here for four years and the service and quality have steadily declined. Last month I got a "deluxe" pedicure, and the tech barely scrubbed my heels with a pumice leaving my feet just the same as when I walked in, except for alot of rubbing of lotion and some hot stones. Worst pedicure of my life. Then today, I go in for a gel fill in only (had learned the hard way about pedicures) and my nails were great, just what I asked for...then they charge me $11 more than the menu states, and they start gibbering about me having repairs....this is absolutely not true. No new nails were put on today and I left with the same tips that I came in with. One girl came out to look at what the menu said the price should be, and admitted to me that it was wrong. I stood there waiting to be refunded $11 and the manager hands me $2. I left at that point because $9 is not worth arguing about, but made it clear that I would not be back. They rely heavily on acting like they don't understand English well...and get away with it because most don't bother to see if they were charged the correct amount, and just blindly hand them their card and sign. This is not the first instance that this has happened here, so I've heard. It's a shame that they treat customers like that, as we need a good, reputable salon in Fairhope. I will be driving to Daphne from now on.
Wax all over my shirt. Went in for facial wax, they squeezed me into a tiny room with another lady lying on a table with 2 working on her. I was a little uncomfortable as she seemed to be sleeping through her treatment & probably wanted some privacy. I had on a nice shirt, I was sitting in a regular chair, not leaning back, no towel or anything over my shirt. I have had it done sitting up elsewhere with no dripping so didn't worry about it until I was paying and she started rubbing at my shirt, which probably made it worse. Have had a nice mani there, however, it is almost always crowded and very hectic, never relaxing. So if you want it fast I'd say go but if you want to enjoy the experience find somewhere else.
Really great nail salon, have been going here ever since I moved to Fairhope a few years ago. Very welcoming and I'm always satisfied with their work. I would highly recommend making an appointment just because they are a pretty popular place. But even as a walk-in from time to time I usually don't have to wait but a few minutes for services. Also if you're going for a pedicure ask for Anna, she does a great job! Hands down best Nail salon in Baldwin County.
Tracey, Helan, and all the women that work at Deluxe Nails are some of the most talented, and caring women I've ever met. Tracey has done my lashes for years and I've always left with beautiful, perfect lashes. She does such maticulas work that they last and look beautiful for quite a long time. My daughter's and I have also had our nails done,and everything is always perfect. . They are all amazing at what they do and care about their client's.
