A coworker and I eat at the Greer's deli regularly. The food is always fresh, hot, and affordable. The service is always excellent.
Not the best selection and produce is kinda gross. But, it's been here forever and has good fried chicken and potato logs.
I stopped at the Market today and was surprised by how dirty the windows /doors were as well as the vestibule. The fruit section was surprising as most of the fruit looked very dated and not fresh at all. We walked back to look at the meat and an associate was helping a customer in the seafood case. The fish smell was overwhelming which tells me that the fish was old. We decided to just leave and smelled another odd smell that smelled like old meat. The shelves look like nobody had straightened in days or weeks. Very disappointing-

Sitting here and enjoying the weather under a patio umbrella off on one of the main thoroughfares in Fairhope. Great draft selections (pints and growler fills)and a nice smattering of packaged regional beers. Also worth a visit for the wine and spirit selection and, of course, the groceries. The deli staff was extremely helpful in considering my needs for cold beverages and chicken tenders.
